PROGRAM AND EVENTS CHAIR

Amanda Walsh serves as the Program and Events Chair at the South Orange County Economic Coalition. She is also the Manager of Community Relations at the University of California, Irvine.

Ms. Walsh is responsible for raising the awareness of UCI as well as discovering and overseeing partnerships between the University, its departments and the community. She works to foster trusting relationships with the region’s nonprofits, businesses, & non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to increase their awareness of UC Irvine. Ms. Walsh represents UC Irvine at civic meetings and community events, such as Irvine’s 2020 Census Complete Count Committee & OC’s National Philanthropy Day Leadership Committee; and, she sits on the Board of Directors for the South OC Economic Coalition and the OC Council of Governments.

 

Ms. Walsh attended California State University, Fullerton and graduated with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science.
